Expressive Therapy Concepts

ETC offers training to professionals on how to incorporate the arts in their practice. We sponsor continuing education programs for therapists. Continuing Education credits are approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors and the Certified Board for Music Therapists. ETC has sponsored National and International conferences and symposiums providing information to practitioners and community members the world over on the healing power of the arts.

ETC provides workshops and individual sessions in Expressive Arts Therapy, Music Therapy, Biofeedback, Sound Healing and Chakra Clearing with Applied Integration at the Healing Arts Studio in Phoenixville, PA.

OUTREACH

ETC offers a service component delivering arts programming and creative arts therapy to:

schools
hospitals
mental health centers
drug and alcohol programs
wellness programs
senior centerss

Programming includes involvement in visual arts, dance, music, poetry and storytelling with the purpose of empowering people through the arts. Programs are adapted to meet the needs of a wide range of community members, diverse in age and cultural backgrounds.

COMMUNITY

ETC believes that public art projects created by members of the community help connect people to themselves and each other. The arts can be a bridge across language, culture, religion, class, race, illness and age. ETC seeks to design projects through music, dance, theater and visual arts where interaction and shared work bring neighbors of varying life circumstances together to get to know one another through a creative experience.
