PROGRAMS

Expressive Therapy Concepts offers group and individual creative arts sessions at the Healing Art Studio in Phoenixville, PA and offers outreach programs in Expressive Arts Therapy to:

  • schools
  • hospitals
  • mental health centers
  • drug and alcohol programs
  • wellness programs
  • senior centers

Programs include involvement in visual arts, dance, music, poetry or storytelling with the purpose of empowering people through the arts. Sessions are adapted to meet the needs of a wide range of community members, diverse in age and cultural backgrounds

 

EDUCATION

ETC offers training to professionals on how to incorporate the arts in their practice. We sponsor continuing education workshops approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors and the Certification Board for Music Therapists. ETC has sponsored National and International conferences and symposiums providing information and building partnerships among practitioners and community members the world over on the healing power of the arts.

COMMUNITY ARTS

ETC believes that public art projects created by members of the community help connect people to themselves and each other The arts can be a bridge across language, culture, religion, class, race, illness and age. ETC seeks to design projects through music, dance, theater and visual arts where interaction and shared work bring neighbors of varying life circumstances together to get to know one another through a creative experience in service of our commnities.
